It did so with much greater reader interest than it initially received, closely following its theatrical release. Despite a slow start, 'The Girl on the Train' is already one of the Most-Read reviews of the year on Eclectic Pop.
The reviews for 'White Bird in a Blizzard', 'Disorder', and 'Demolition', all repeated, along with the Top 10 Most-Read list for August/September 2016.
New in November was the first ‘Let’s Talk About…’ feature since
the beginning of the year, January 2016 to be exact. The ‘Entertainment
Inquiry’ also returned with its first new entry in 2 months. Entertainment
Inquiry #8 focused exclusively on The CW’s ‘Reign’, answering questions from fans of the show on Twitter about Season 4.
Fun Stat Facts:
-The
latest ‘Let’s Talk About…’ is the only article on the list to exclusively
discuss sports (ice dancing).
-50% of the Top 10 is comprised of movie reviews
-As of November, the reviews for 'White Bird in a Blizzard'
and 'The Girl on the Train' joined the list of Eclectic Pop’s All-Time

Content Notes for December:
-The special 'Game of Thrones' edition of the Entertainment
Inquiry that was originally planned for November will hopefully materialize in
December.
-The Best of 2016 lists will arrive in either late December,
or early January. Based on the results of a reader poll on Twitter, the 'Best of' list will continue in its usual fashion.
-Having just recently watched BBC’s sensational 2004 miniseries 'North
& South' for the first time, expect a feature on it soon. The mini is
currently streaming on Netflix and it is worth the watch. It is one of the best miniseries, I have ever seen.
As always, thanks to everyone who has been reading and sharing
Eclectic Pop’s content on social media. It means the world!
Happy Holidays!
